Omar Hernandez (Avon Grove H.S./West Grove, Pa.) scored the only goal of the match in the 61st minute to lead Goldey-Beacom College (3-2-0, 2-0-0) to its third win in the last four matches, a 1-0 victory over defending Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference champion Philadelphia University (2-3-0, 1-2-0) at Nancy Churchman-Sawin Field. Hernandez, who scored the first goal of his college career, gave Goldey-Beacom a 1-0 lead when he headed in a crossing pass from freshman

Marcus Arrvidsson (Taby, Sweden) made four saves to earn his third shutout of the season for the Lightning, who were playing their fifth straight home match to open the year.
