Cougars Overcome Deficit to Collect First Win of Season

WILMINGTON, Del. - Senior defender Lauren Iuliucci (Delsea H.S./Franklinville, N.J.) scored the eventual game-winning goal with 3:06 left in regulation to lead Caldwell University (1-3-0, 1-1-0) to its first win of the season, a 2-1 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference victory over Goldey-Beacom College (1-1-0, 0-1-0) in the Lightning's home opener at Nancy Churchman-Sawin Field on Sunday afternoon.

Iuliucci gave the Cougars the victory when she took a pass from senior forward Melissa Stec (Lourdes H.S./Salt Point, N.Y.) and scored her first goal of the season.
