WATERBURY, Conn. - Senior guard Stephen Perry, Jr. (Life Center Academy/Westampton, N.J.) scored a game-high 22 points and added three steals as Post University (6-12, 6-5) earned its fifth win in the last six games with an 82-66 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference victory over Goldey-Beacom College (8-11, 6-7) at the Drubner Center on Saturday afternoon.

The victory also allowed the Eagles to extend their home win streak to four consecutive games while snapping the Lightning's two-game win streak.

In leading the Eagles to the victory, Perry made 8 of 12 shots from the floor, including a 5-for-6 effort from three-point range. He was one of two Post players to score at least 20 points as redshirt senior forward Josh Tatum (South Central H.S./Greenville, N.C.) set season highs by scoring 20 points with 11 rebounds.

Senior guard Zach Krischer (Comsewogue H.S./Port Jefferson, N.Y.) added 10 points off the bench for the Eagles, who never trailed in the game and led by as many as 24 points in the second half.

Junior forward Chris Gebhart (Cherry Hill West H.S./Cherry Hill, N.J.) tallied his first "double double" of the season for the Lightning, scoring 16 points with a season-high 12 rebounds. Meanwhile, freshman guard Donte McGill (Mont Clare Academy/Newark, Del.) scored a team-high 17 points with eight rebounds.

Senior forward Will Williams (Keystone National H.S./Flushing, N.Y.) also earned his first "double double" of the season with 12 points and a season-high 10 rebounds.

The Lightning outrebounded the Eagles by a 41-37 margin, but Post forced Goldey-Beacom to commit 20 turnovers while shooting 45.0 per cent from the field.

Goldey-Beacom will finish its quick two-game road trip on Wednesday, Feb. 5 when the Lightning visit Holy Family for an 8 p.m. CACC South Division game.
