Frederick, Md.- The Goldey-Beacom College Men's Cross Country team swept the top three places at the Hood invitational on Saturday afternoon.

Junior Logan Jones (Tuscarora H.S./Frederick, Md.) finished in first place with a time of 26:56. Junior Aaron Easter (Rising Sun H.S./Elkton, Md.) earned a second place finish on Jones' heels with a time of 26:57.  Finishing the sweep, freshman Chandler Brooks (Bohemia Manor H.S./Warwick, Md.), posted a personal best of 27:07.

 GBC had arguably its best race of the year with a final score of 34 points.

Sophomore Rudy Braxton (Hodgson Vo-Tech H.S./Bear, Del.) finished in ninth place with a season best time of 27:07.  Freshman Victor Rueda (Sussex Technical H.S./Milford, Del.) was in 19 place with his second best time of the year 28:50.

Other GBC male runners hitting their personal bests were freshman Justin Morris (Harford Tech H.S./Abingdon, Md.), sophomore Ludric Francis (Smyrna H.S./Smyrna, Del.) and sophomore Zarif Goldsborough (William Penn H.S./New Castle, Del.).
