PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - Junior
Aaron Easter (Rising Sun H.S./Elkton, Md.) earned sixth place to lead the Goldey-Beacom College cross country team to a fourth place team finish at the 7th Annual Jack Saint Clair Memorial Cross Country Championship at Belmont Plateau on Saturday afternoon.
Philadelphia University earned the team championship after scoring 50 points as three runners finished among the top 10 runners. Meanwhile, Georgetown Running Club earned second place with 76 points.
Easter posted a time of 27 minutes, 59 seconds to lead the Lightning while junior
Logan Jones (Tuscarora H.S./Frederick, Md.) followed in eighth place by crossing the finish line in 28 minutes, 12 seconds.
Sophomore
Rudy Braxton (Hodgson Vo-Tech H.S./Bear, Del.) completed the race in 29 minutes, 31 seconds to finish in 26th place while freshman
Josh Shultz (Easton Area H.S./Easton, Pa.) followed in 33rd place with a time of 30:17.
The Lightning will travel to Hood College on Saturday, Oct. 18 for the Hood College Invitational.
