RUTHERFORD, N.J. - Led by a balanced scoring effort, the Goldey-Beacom College women's basketball team (8-10, 5-6) ended a four-game road losing streak by earning a 65-56 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference victory over Felician College (8-10, 6-5) at Job Gymnasium on Saturday afternoon.

The Lightning, who earned their first road victory since a 63-57 win at Georgian Court on Nov. 26, had eight of their nine players score at least six points as Goldey-Beacom ended Felician's five-game win streak.

Junior guard Lillian Chukwueze led the Lightning by scoring 12 points with six rebounds. She made 5 of 15 shots from the floor, including two of six three-point field goal attempts, while contributing three assists with a steal.

Meanwhile, junior guard Taylor Leonard added 11 points after making four of seven field goal attempts, including a 3-for-4 performance from three-point range.

Junior forward Chelsea Grover tallied 10 points with four rebounds and three blocked shots while freshman guard Jasmyne Lewis tallied a team-high 10 rebounds with nine points and two blocked shots.

The Golden Falcons were led by junior forward Ashley Morris, who recorded a "double double" with 12 points and a team-high 10 rebounds. Meanwhile, senior forward Trina Plummer scored a game-high 13 points for the Golden Falcons while adding four rebounds and three steals.

The Lightning never trailed in the game and led by as many as 17 points in the second half.

Goldey-Beacom will return to the Joseph West Jones College Center on Tuesday, Jan. 28 to host Georgian Court in a CACC South Division contest at 6 p.m.
