WILMINGTON, Del. – Senior forward Kelly Brady (Ocean City H.S./Ocean City, N.J.) recorded her seventh “double double” of the season by scoring 11 points with a game-high 11 rebounds as sixth-ranked Holy Family University (24-2, 18-1) clinched the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference South Division title with a 69-58 victory over Goldey-Beacom College (19-9, 16-3) on Saturday afternoon, spoiling the Lightning's Senior Day at the Joseph West Jones College Center.

Led by Brady, the Tigers extended their win streak to 12 consecutive games and earned the South Division title for the sixth consecutive season. Holy Family, which also claimed the top overall seed in the 2013 CACC Championship, will host Bloomfield College in a quarterfinal game on Saturday, Mar. 2 at 2 p.m.

Meanwhile, the Lightning, who had a school-record nine-game win streak snapped on Saturday, will host Post University in a CACC quarterfinal game at the Jones Center on Saturday, Mar. 2 at 2 p.m. after the Eagles claimed the third seed in the North Division.

The Tigers, who rallied to edge the Lightning by a 47-43 margin on Jan. 12, built a commanding 23-8 lead in the opening 11:35 of the first half while limiting the Lightning to just one field, a lay-up by senior forward Irene Hudson (Corcoran H.S./Syracuse, N.Y.) with 9:42 remaining in the opening stanza.

A jumper by senior guard Ashley Rosario (Harry S. Truman H.S/Levittown, Pa.) ended the Tigers' run with 8:07 left in the period, but the Tigers scored 12 of the final 22 points to take a 35-20 advantage into the intermission.

The Tigers upped their lead to 45-26 in the opening four minutes of the second half before the Lightning answered by scoring 13 of the next 22 points to trim the deficit to 51-39 on a jumper by freshman guard Monique Cheek (Teaneck H.S./Teaneck, N.J.) with 10:00 remaining.

After a three-point basket by junior guard Mary Ellen McCollum (St. Basil Academy/Abington, Pa.) upped the margin to 54-39, the Lightning went on a 10-4 run, including four points from Hudson and senior guard Jacinda Jones (Concord H.S./Claymont, Del.), to close the margin to 58-49 with 3:46 left in regulation.

The Lightning narrowed the deficit to nine points on two different occasions, but the Tigers used a six-for-eight performance from the free throw line in the final three minutes to secure the victory.

While Brady led the Tigers to the win, senior guard Ana Cruz (Warwick H.S./Lititz, Pa.) scored a game-high 15 points by making five of nine three-point field goals while adding five rebounds, five steals and three assists.

McCollum contributed 14 points while senior center Erin Mann (Villa Maria Academy/West Chester, Pa.) scored 13 points with eight rebounds and two assists.

One of five seniors playing in the final regular season home game of their college career, Hudson scored a team-high 14 points with eight rebounds and two blocked shots. Rosario contributed 11 points with five rebounds while sophomore forward Chelsea Grover (Seneca H.S./Southampton, N.J.) came off the bench to score 10 points with five rebounds.
