Opening Tip-Off
After ending a season-high seven-game losing streak with a dramatic overtime victory, the Lightning will look to win back-to-back games for the second time this season when they welcome Felician College to the Joseph West Jones College Center for a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match-up on Saturday afternoon. Opening tip-off between the Lightning and the Golden Falcons is slated for approximately 3 p.m. or 25 minutes after the conclusion of the women's game between Felician and Goldey-Beacom. In addition, live stats and live video for Saturday's tilt will be available on the Lightning's official athletics website, www.gbcathletics.com.

Updating the Lightning
The Lightning snapped a seven-game losing streak on Tuesday night in dramatic fashion, edging the University of the Sciences by a 76-74 margin in overtime at Bobby Morgan Arena. Sophomore guard Marcus Porter hit the game-winning jumper in the closing seconds of overtime to give Goldey-Beacom a two-point advantage after the Lightning trailed by five points early in the extra session. But, Porter was not the only one with a crucial shot in the closing seconds of a period on Tuesday after freshman guard Akil Charles sent the game into overtime with a jumper to tie the game after the Lightning trailed by as many as 12 points in the second half. Junior guard A.J. Picard led the Lightning with 22 points while Porter contributed 20 points. In addition, Charles had a season-high 11 points by making 5 of 11 field goal tries.

Scouting Felician
Currently 7-12 overall and 5-7 in the CACC, the Golden Falcons will be trying to improve their position in the CACC North Division standings when they visit Goldey-Beacom on Saturday. The Golden Falcons, who are tied for fourth place in the North Division, earned a 71-64 wire-to-wire victory over Post University on Tuesday at Job Gymnasium. Senior guard Antoine Obery led the Golden Falcons by scoring 24 points with 15 rebounds. Obery is the Golden Falcons' leading scorer and rebounder by averaging 16.9 points and 9.4 rebounds per contest. Meanwhile, senior guard Anthony D. Green is contributing 14.4 points per game.

Series Business: Felician
The Lightning and the Golden Falcons will be meeting for the 24th time in a series that Goldey-Beacom leads by a slim 12-11 margin. In addition, the Lightning have won four of the last six meetings between the two teams. Four of the last six meetings between the two teams have been decided by four points or less, including a pair of one-point outings.

A Look at Last Year's Meeting
Junior guard Tajric Boggs scored the game-winning basket with 31 seconds remaining in regulation to lead Felician to an exciting 61-60 victory over the Lightning in last year's meeting at the Job Gymnasium. The win snapped the Golden Falcons' four-game losing streak against the Lightning, marking their first victory in the series since Feb. 5, 2007. Boggs, who scored a team-high 16 points in the victory, gave Felician a two-point edge with a lay-up off before the Lightning failed to convert two chances in the final eight seconds. Sophomore guard Marcus Porter led the Lightning in a losing effort with a team-high 16 points and eight rebounds while junior guard A.J. Picard added 16 points by making 5 of 13 shots from the floor, including a three-for-nine effort from three-point range.

Livingston Sets Goldey-Beacom Career Blocks Record, Eyes Single-Season Mark
With three blocked shots in the Lightning's 105-99 loss against Chestnut Hill on Jan. 15, senior forward Lawrence Livingston became Goldey-Beacom's all-time leader in blocked shots, surpassing the previous record of 98 blocks held by Derek Savage (2004-08). Livingston is the only player in Goldey-Beacom men's basketball history to record 100 career blocks after posting a block in the Lightning's win over the University of the Sciences on Jan. 29. Livingston, who ranks second in the CACC in total blocks through games of Jan. 31, now needs just three blocks to eclipse the Lightning's single-season record of 39 blocks that Savage set during the 2007-08 season.

What's Ahead for Goldey-Beacom
The Lightning will play their final non-conference game of the regular season on Wednesday evening when they host Lincoln University at the Joseph West Jones College Center at 7 p.m.
