Opening Tip-Off
Playing their third game in six days, the Lightning will make their shortest road trip of the season on Monday night by traveling to Wilmington University for a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference game against the Wildcats. Opening tip-off at the WU Athletics Complex is slated for 6 p.m. and live video of Monday's game will be available on the Wildcats' official athletics website at www.wilmu.edu/athletics.

Updating the Lightning
After posting a 76-62 victory over Caldwell on Saturday afternoon, the Lightning enter Monday night's affair against the Wildcats with a 4-6 overall record and a 2-1 mark in the CACC. The Lightning, who snapped a two-game losing streak with the win on Saturday, were led by sophomore guard Charles Jackson, who scored a game-high 22 points while making the first start of his college career. Meanwhile, sophomore guard Marcus Porter, who is the Lightning's leading scorer, posted his first “double double” of the season by setting season highs with 19 points and 10 rebounds. The game at Wilmington will mark the Lightning's sixth road contest in the last seven games.

Scouting Wilmington
Currently 1-8 overall and 1-3 in the CACC, the Wildcats will be trying to rebound after suffering a tough 78-77 road loss at Felician on Saturday afternoon. The Wildcats, who will be starting a four-game homestand on Monday night, trailed by eight points with less than four minutes to play but were unable to complete the comeback against the Golden Falcons. Junior guard Herbert Dennis is the Wildcats' leading scorer with a 12.6 average while also posting a team-high 34 assists. Meanwhile, senior forward Brandon Fox is averaging a team-high 6.9 rebounds per outing while contributing 10.0 points per game.

Series Business: Wilmington
After sweeping the season series against the Wildcats last year, the Lightning have won five straight games over their local rivals going back to the 2009-10 season. Since the start of the 2001-02 season, the Lightning have posted a 20-3 record against the Wildcats, including a victory in the 2010 CACC quarterfinals. The Lightning and the Wildcats will meet again on Jan. 8 at the Joseph West Jones College Center.

Seeing 20/20
For the first time this season, the Lightning had two players score at least 20 points in a game after sophomore guard Charles Jackson (22) and junior guard A.J. Picard (22) each reached the 20-point plateau in Saturday's win over Caldwell. For Jackson, it marked his second 20-point game of the season while Picard has reached 20 or more points three times this year. In addition, Saturday's game marked the first time that the Lightning have had two players score at least 20 points in the same game since Picard (23) and sophomore guard Marcus Porter (20) each reached 20 or more points against Lincoln University last season.

Jackson Five
After scoring a game-high 22 points in the Lightning's win over Caldwell on Saturday afternoon, sophomore guard Charles Jackson is averaging 15.0 points per game in his last five outings. The Lightning's third-leading scorer with an 11.0 average, Jackson also had a career-high 24-point performance against Puerto Rico-Mayaquez on Nov. 24. In addition, he had 15 points against Nova Southeastern on Nov. 23. Jackson, who made the first start of his career on Saturday, has played in 9 of the Lightning's 10 games this season.

Block Party
After recording four blocks in the win over Caldwell on Saturday, senior forward Lawrence Livingston has tallied 26 blocks in 10 games this season. He ranked 10th in NCAA Division II by averaging 2.63 blocks per game through games of Dec. 2 and ranks second in the CACC in total blocks. Livingston, who is the lone senior on this year's team, ranks second in school history with 89 career blocks and needs 10 blocks to become the Lightning's all-time leader.
