BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – The Goldey-Beacom College women's tennis team suffered its first loss of the season at the hands of new Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference member, Concordia on Thurs. afternoon. The Lightning (6-1) fell by a score of 9-0.

Concordia (8-0), which reached the NCAA Tournament quarterfinals last season, won all three doubles matches and all six singles matches to hand GBC its first loss.

The Lightning are back in action on Sat., as they go on the road to take on CACC foe Philadelphia University at 11:30 a.m.
