PIKE CREEK, Del. – The Goldey-Beacom College women's tennis team closed out the 2009 regular season with a resounding 9-0 win over Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference foe Post University on Sun. afternoon at Del Castle Tennis Center.
The Lightning (12-1) finished the season on a five-game win streak as they won all three doubles matches and all six singles matches on their home court.
GBC, undefeated at home this season, will host Holy Family University on Tues. in the CACC semifinals. The winner will play the victor of the other semifinal game between Philadelphia U. and Concordia in the finals at Chestnut Hill College.
