Lakewood, NJ – Lightning tennis sweeps Georgian Court

The Lightning Women's Tennis team took on their first conference opponent today, when they faced off against Georgian Court University in Lakewood, New Jersey.  The Lightning went out poised and ready to continue their current winning streak.  Luisiana Souto led the Lightning with her decisive win in singles of 6-1; 6-1.  Luciana Pereira, Jennifer Jones and Stephanie Bain followed suit with two sets to love wins in their singles matches.  Daniela Pereira and Anastoshia Lewis took their opponents to tie-breakers before defeating them.  The doubles matches were wins as well with Daniela Pereira and Anastoshia Lewis sweeping their opponents 8-0.  The Lightning now move to 3-0 overall and 1-0 in the CACC.  West Chester University is the next opponent for the Lightning.
