Philadelphia, PA – Men's Cross Country finishes in 5^th at Philly Metro

The men's cross-country team took on the Philly Metro meet today.  Last year the Lightning men finished in 13^th position at the meet and looked to improve.

Soufiane Sadikina led the Lightning with an 8k time of 28.08 and finishing in 11^th position.  Freshman Ben Kinley improved his time to 29.26, finishing in 29^th place and earning a spot on the GBC All-time 8k runners list.  With Steve Pavina running a season best and Andrew Madden running a career best 8k, the Lightning men in 5^th position overall. 

The Lightning men will next host the GBC Fall Invitational on October 4, 2008 at 11:30am at Carousel Park.
