Sadikina Wins Hunter Invitational and leads Lightning with strong times

New York, NY – Sadikina Wins Hunter Invitational and leads Lightning to First Win

 

The Goldey-Beacom College men's cross-country team took on their third course of the season in New York, New York.  The men ran an 8k (5 miles) meet.  Soufiane Sadikina, a graduate student from Casablanca, Morocco, won the race with a time of 28.17, his second Goldey-Beacom College career race win.  Freshman Ben Kinley came in 7th with a time of 31.05 while freshman Paul Graybeal ran 33.00, which was good for 14th place.  Along with Konstantin Rubtsov and Andrew Madden finishing in 25th and 26th positions the Lightning won the meet. 

This is the first win for Coach Brian Conley as a cross-country coach at Goldey-Beacom College.  The cross-country team will be racing next at Belmont Plateau in Philadelphia, PA on Saturday, September 20th at 1:00pm in the Philly Metro Meet.
