West Chester, PA – Lightning Tennis continues win streak
The Goldey-Beacom College Tennis team traveled to West Chester University to face off against the Golden Rams. The Lightning still running on a high from their 3-0 (1-0 in the CACC) early season start looked to continue their winning streak.
Leading the Lightning were sophomores Luisiana Souto and Luciana Pereira defeating their doubles opponent 8-5. Then each of them defeated their singles opponents in decisive manner with scores of 6-0 and 6-1.
Adding to the Lightning win over West Chester was Daniela Pereira and Jennifer Jones. The Lightning defeated West Chester University 8-1. The Lightning will host Shippensburg University at Delcastle Tennis Center on September 16th at 4:00pm.
