Norfolk, VA – Lightning Men's Cross Country has good showing in Blue Marlin Open

The Lightning men's cross country team ran a strong race in today's Blue Marlin Open at Virginia Wesleyan College.  Seven men ran for the Lightning in the 8k (5 miles), and all of them finished in the top 80 runners. 

Graduate Student Soufiane Sadikina led the team with a time of 29.08, which was good for 20^th position.  Newcomers Paul Graybeal and Ben Kinley finished 32^nd and 40^th respectively.  Adding those three scores with Steve Pavina and Andrew Madden's scores allowed the Lightning to finish in 6^th position out of 14 total teams.  Demetris Harding and Jon Michalechen also ran for the individual title.
