Wilmington, DE – Parham paces Lightning against LeMoyne in last game of 2008

On Saturday afternoon, the Lightning men's basketball team hosted LeMoyne College for their last game of 2008.  The Lightning men showed energy in the beginning of the game, taking an 11-4 lead in the opening five minutes.  As the Lightning struggled to convert their opportunities late in the first half, LeMoyne found their rhythm and streaked to a 44-30 halftime advantage.

Despite efforts from Anthony Parham (15 points, 3 rebounds) and Darrell Johnson (9 points), the Lightning continued their struggles and fell to LeMoyne 72-56. 

The Lightning will be back on the court January 3, hosting nationally ranked (#9) C.W. Post University at 3:00pm in the Joseph West Jones Center Gymnasium.
