Bloomsburg, PA – Women's Basketball falls to Bloomsburg University

The Goldey-Beacom College women's basketball team traveled to Bloomsburg University on November 25, for their first-ever meeting against the Huskies.  The teams traded baskets over the first seven minutes of the game, until a 10-2 run, gave Bloomsburg a 36-26 halftime lead.

Bloomsburg would begin the second half on a 14-4 run to extend their lead and secure the win over the Lady Lightning 78-47. 

Amber Gullickson led the Lightning with 14 points and 5 rebounds, while Arielle Alford added 6 points, 13 rebounds, and 4 blocks.

The Lightning will next play host to Columbia Union College on Monday, December 1, 2008 at 7:00pm.
