Wilmington, DE – Tennis sweeps Molloy College

The Lighting tennis team finished off their home matches today, with a non-conference match-up against Molloy College. 

The Lightning once again dominated in doubles play, and swept their matches 3-0.  The pairing of Souto and L. Pereira defeated their opponents 8-0, while the D. Pereira/Lewis and Jones/Bain defeated their opponents 8-3 each. 

The singles matches followed in the same manner for the Lightning.  Luisiana Souto and Luciana Pereira defeated their opponents 6-0, 6-0 each.  Daniela Pereira won 6-0, 6-1, Anastoshia Lewis won 6-2, 6-3, Jennifer Jones won 6-3, 6-1, and Stephanie Bain rounded out the sweep with a 6-4, 6-1 win.

The Lightning will travel to Caldwell College on Friday, October 10, for their last CACC regular season match.
