Cheyney, PA – Men's Cross-Country finishes 2^nd at Cheyney

The Lightning men's cross-country team traveled to Cheyney University on Saturday for the Larry Simmons 5k cross-country invitational.  The Lightning raced well, as two men finish in the top 10 runners, and the team finished 2^nd overall.

The Lightning was led by Soufiane Sadikina who won the race with a time of 18:18.32.  Paul Graybeal came in next for the Lightning in 6^th position with a time of 19:34.64.  Steve Pavina finished in 11^th with a time of 20:13.48.  Next for the Lightning was Mike Williams in 14^th with a time of 20:57.66.  Directly behind Williams was Andrew Madden in 15^th with a time of 21:03.52 and Seneca Curry in 16^th with a time of 21:07.63.  Rounding out the Lightning was Demetrius Harding in 26^th position with a time of 25:08.55.

The Lightning will next race at Belmont Plateau for the CACC Championship on Saturday, October 25, 2008 at 3:45pm.
