Sharon Uliana is in her first season as an assistant coach for the Lightning.
 
Uliana was the head coach at Marywood from 2012-13, leading it to a 31-24 record.  She guided the Pacers to the Colonial States Athletic Conference Tournament each season with the squad advancing to the semifinals in 2013, the same year they went to the ECAC Tournament.  Uliana was responsible for all aspects of the program and also started a men’s club team at the University on a volunteer basis.
 
She also was an assistant coach for Marywood from 2009-11, supervising many aspects of the program that included helping with team building and team chemistry.
 
Uliana competed four seasons at DeSales (2005-08) and was a team captain in 2008, one year after being picked first team All-Freedom Conference.  She helped the Bulldogs to the 2007 Freedom Conference title and a trip back to the conference final her senior campaign.  Uliana graduated as the program’s career leader in assists with 4,096 and was fifth with 1,130 digs.
 
Uliana graduated DeSales in 2009 with a B.A. in Criminal Justice.  She presently serves as a Claims Reviewer for the Delaware Claims Processing Facility.
