At Goldey-Beacom:  Has worked hard in the off season to improve her jump…has potential to be an excellent offside hitter in 2010.

2009 Season: Played in all 31 matches and 101 of 103 sets...fifth on the team in kills with 62…fourth on the team in assists with 20…recorded 27 digs and 10 blocks, including two solo stops…had a season-high five kills in the season-opener against Philadelphia U. (8/29)…pitched in with a season-high five digs in a 3-1 victory at Lincoln (9/1) and a season-high three assists in an exciting 3-2 come-from-behind win over Chestnut Hill (9/17).

2008 Season: Appeared in all 28 matches and 90 of 91 sets…third on the team with 122 kills…fifth on the team with 13 service aces…fourth on the team in digs (120)…also collected four blocks and seven assists…had two double-figure kill games, including a career-high 12 kills against Saint Paul’s (9/5)…recorded a career-high 19 digs against Dominican (9/11).

High School: Earned six varsity letters in volleyball and track at Bohemia Manor High School…played volleyball under current GBC head coach Rich Bowers…was named the team’s most valuable player in 2006 and 2007…named All-County in 2007.

Personal: Amanda Mills…enjoys working out and going to the beach…describes herself as “happy.”
