Lance England

Lance England is in his fourth season as an assistant coach at Goldey-Beacom.
 
England arrived after spending 2015 as the girls’ soccer coach at Ursuline Academy.  He was awarded the conference Coach of the Year that season and got his squad into the state tournament after it had not appeared the three previous years.  In three years, he led his team to the playoffs each season including a DIAA State semifinal appearance in 2017.  For his efforts in 2017, he also was awarded the conference Coach of the Year a second time in three seasons.
 
England also guided the Delaware Military Academy boys’ team to a 12-3 record and a first-round bye in the 2015 state tournament.
 
He started his coaching path with St. Mark’s High School in 2012, serving as an assistant for the girls’ and boys’ programs three seasons.
 
England serves as Recreational Director of Coaching for the Delaware Union, where he also coaches the 2003 girls' team and both of the 2010 boys’ teams.
 
He has is USSF “C” License and a Director of Coaching Diploma through United Soccer Coaches Association.
 
England played collegiately with Cecil College, where has was a Regional All-American, and in Division I with Duquesne University.
