Tommy Cockill

    Assistant Baseball Coach
Tommy Cockill is in his third season as an assistant coach for the Lightning.
 
He arrives after serving the 2020 campaign as an assistant coach at Lock Haven, his alma mater.  Before that he was the pitching coach at Ursinus, where the 2019 squad recorded 18 victories, had two pitchers notch over 30 strikeouts and helped a unit which overall struck out 190 opposing hitters.
 
Cockill in 2018 was pitching coach for the varsity squad at Devon Prep School.
 
Cockill had a solid two-year run for Lock Haven (2016-17), primarily out of the bullpen.  The 2017 campaign saw him pitch in 15 games, helping the Bald Eagles record a school-record 32 victories and compete in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Tournament for the first time in eight years.  Cockill in 2016 notched a 3-0 mark.
 
Before arriving at Lock Haven, Cockill pitched at Mercer County Community College.
