At Goldey-Beacom: Third-year forward…ranks No. 8 on the school’s career goals list (9) and her seven goals in 2008 ranks 10^th on the single-season goal list …should start on the Lightning front line in 2010.

2009 Season: Saw action in 15 games and made 10 starts…third on the team in points (6), second in goals (2) and assists (2) and third in shots (31)…scored a goal in consecutive games against Caldwell (10/26) and Bloomfield (10/29)…assisted on a goal in 3-1 win against Post (10/10) and in the season finale versus Concordia (10/30)..took a season-high seven shots against Bloomfield.

2008 Season: Played in and started 11 games…second on the team in points (17), goals (7) and shots (36)…also collected three assists…scored twice in a 5-1 Lightning win at SUNY Maritime (9/5) and posted a five-point afternoon (one goal and three assists) in an 11-0 win against Columbia Union (9/8)…scored a goal in four consecutive games in October against Chestnut Hill (10/2), Caldwell (10/4), Bloomfield (10/11) and Wilmington (10/15)…took a career-high eight shots against Bloomfield.

High School: Three-sport athlete at Elkton High School…earned 10 varsity letters playing soccer, basketball and softball…played soccer under Christine Wrightson…led her softball team to regional championship her sophomore season…All-County soccer all four years…All-County basketball senior year…named Best All-Around Female Athlete of her graduating class.

Personal: Marissa Valladares…chose GBC for its soccer team and a good education…chose Division II athletics because she could play for a competitive program and earn a scholarship…enjoys playing and watching sports and going to “Gatorade Parties”…describes herself as “short.”
