Goldey-Beacom survived a battle with Post in recording an 18-17, 10-inning Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference victory in Hockessin, DE.

GBC finally ended the 4 hour, 35 minute marathon to clinch home-field advantage in the first round of the CACC Tournament.  Junior Bobby Stewart (Newark, DE) lined a leadoff double in the 10th, took third on a sacrifice bunt from sophomore Roman Keith (Selbyville, DE) and scored on a wild pitch.

Kaden Barmer (Edgewood, MD) had a grand slam, four hits and five RBI, fellow freshman Shawn Roy (New Castle, DE) drove him three with Stewart getting two hits and two RBI.  Wilmington, DE freshman Tyler Leech (1-0) pitched a perfect top of the 10th for his first collegiate victory.

Andrew Hartman had three hits and four RBI, Manny Contreras cracked a grand slam with Hunter Keller getting three hits for the Eagles (25-23, 19-13 CACC).
