Rory Ciszkowski Reaches the Career Top 10 List in Women’s Basketball’s Loss at Chestnut Hill

Goldey-Beacom senior Rory Ciszkowski (Wilmington, DE) ascended to 10th place on the program's career scoring list in her squad's 91-50 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference loss at Chestnut Hill in Philadelphia, PA.

Ciszkowski netted 11 points and now is at 1,181 career, passing Janae Weldon (1,177) and former teammate Alexis Harrison (1,175).  Already the school's career 3-pointers leader, Ciszkowski drilled three and stands at 257.

A third team All-CACC pick in 2024, Ciszkowski tonight also hauled in 10 rebounds for her fourth double-double of the campaign.

The Griffins in the second quarter went on a roll by outscoring the Lightning 25-14 to gain a 51-33 halftime lead.  Sara Tamoun and Tiayo Adelekan netted six points apiece in helping their squad shoot 53 percent (8-of-15) from the field in that time.

Junior Genesis Garcia (Aguada, PR) matched her career high with 12 points and freshman Eva Walker (Wilmington, DE) added 10 for the Lightning (3-16, 3-9 CACC).

Tamoun netted 23 points on 8-of-14 shooting to go with 10 rebounds and Adelekan added 15 for Chestnut Hill (11-9, 8-4).
