Goldey-Beacom women's basketball picked up its third Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference victory of the season with a 65-48 win over Post at the Joseph West Jones Center in Wilmington, DE.
The Lightning had a strong showing on the offensive end, outscoring Post in all four quarters and having three players reach double digits in scoring. Goldey-Beacom also performed on the rebounding end, only allowing four offensive rebounds from Post and limiting their opponent to 38.5 percent shooting from the field.
The Lightning were led by senior Rory Ciszkowski (Wilmington, DE) with a double-double, putting up 15 points and 10 rebounds. Lydia Betz (Pittsburgh, Pa.) notched 15 points and eight rebounds with fellow sophomore Marasia Dyes (Binghamton, N.Y.) getting 13 points and six assists.
Post was led by Alyssa Rossignol with 24 points, three steals and four rebounds.
Goldey-Beacom plays next on Wednesday, when it hosts Jefferson in Wilmington, DE at 6:00 pm.
