Men’s Golf Reveals its 2025 Fall Schedule

8/12/2025 12:00:00 AM

(2025 fall schedule)

With another Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference title and trip to the NCAA Regional behind it, Goldey-Beacom looks for even more success against what always is a tough fall schedule.

Things begin September 11 with the CACC Preview at White Clay Creek Country Club in Wilmington, site of this year's conference championship.  Instead of having a practice round the day before the championship's first round, the squads instead will get their preview in a round that counts.

GBC is back at White Clay Creek from September 14-15 for the Blue Hen Intercollegiate before competing September 25 at the Jefferson Invitational in Norristown, PA.

The Lightning then go for a fourth straight conference title from October 5-7, when it competes in the CACC Championship at White Clay Creek.  Goldey-Beacom serves as the host for the championship, which now will be three rounds over three days.

The fall ends October 9, when Goldey-Beacom plays at the Husky Invitational.

Back to once again lead the force is senior Camilo Samur (Bucaramanga, Colombia), who last season was picked to the All-CACC Team a fourth straight year.  An incredible player who will go down as one of the College's top athletes, Samur ended 15th in the East Region last year after closing third at the CACC Championship and third at the Battlefield Classic.

Senior Guillermo de Miguel (Cadiz, Spain) also made the All-CACC Team, capping what was a more than impressive debut year for the Lightning.  He won the GBC Fall Invitational by eight shots, which included a final-round 67, and was sixth at the CACC Championship.

Senior William Kelly (Auckland, New Zealand), picked to the All-CACC Team in 2024, saw his 2024-25 season limited due to injury and looks to be back in form.  He closed fourth last season at the Battlefield Classic and 15th at the CACC Championship.

Goldey-Beacom in 2024-25 won the CACC title a third straight season and advanced to the NCAA Regional a fourth consecutive year.  The CACC crown was one of five victories on the year for the Lightning.

The sixth CACC championship in program history and the most by any GBC team also marked the second time the program has won three straight titles, matching the feet from the 2002-03 season through 2004-05.  It also was the 14th CACC title in the College's history, which the Men's Track & Field team last spring changed to 15.
