Goldey-Beacom women's tennis continued its impressive play with a 7-0 victory at Millersville, improving to 6-1 in the spring.

The Lightning earned the doubles point in interesting fashion as junior Nahomi Quinonez (Manta, Ecuador) and senior Macy Hendin-Walker (Ipswich, England) picked up the win in their match, 7-5, before No. 3 doubles was forfeited by Millersville, giving GBC the win.

Quinonez in the process recorded her 15th doubles victory of the season, tied for seventh on the program's single-season list.

Goldey-Beacom (14-5) won all its singles matches, facing another forfeit from Millersville in No. 6 singles. Senior Elizabeth Mova (Sevastopol, Ukraine) earned a 7-6, 7-5 win at first singles over Soo and junior Zehra Canbaz (Denizli, Turkiye) won 2-6, 7-6, 1-0 (10-5) at No. 2 singles over Hayes.

Third singles saw Quinonez pick up the 6-3, 6-1 victory over Abramowitz and freshman Sofia Lopez (Bogota, Colombia) won 6-1, 6-0 at fourth singles against Consigliere. Hendin-Waker concluded the singles matches at No. 5 with a 6-1, 6-0 victory over Lanius.

Goldey-Beacom plays its final regular-season match on Friday, when it travels to Ewing, NJ to take on TCNJ at noon.
