Goldey-Beacom esports picked up a 2-1 victory over Post in Super Smash Brothers Ultimate and secured the second seed heading into the CACC tournament.

Post captured Set 1 with a score of 9-8, but the Lighting were able to rally back and take the next two sets 9-2 and 9-5.

Stephen "Anhelo" Quinn took nine stocks total, all of which were by himself in Set 2. Mehki "aether.exe" Ellensworth finished with eight stocks in total.

The Super Smash Brothers Ultimate Squad faces Dominican (NY) in the semifinals on March 25 at 9:00pm.
