Goldey-Beacom rallied in game one for a stunning 8-7, eight-inning victory over Millersville and then had an easier time in the nightcap with a 10-2 triumph at the Jackson Complex in Wilmington, DE.
Goldey-Beacom in game one rallied for the tying run in the last of the seventh inning.  Senior Ariana Mirenda (Reading, PA) made the most of her Navy Blue and Vegas Gold debut with a leadoff triple and fellow debutant Josalyn McMillan (Rising Sun, MD) came through with an RBI single.
Millersville in the top of the eighth took a 7-6 lead.  Emilee Slotcavage was placed on second via international tiebreak rules, took third on Carly Vaughan's sacrifice and crossed home on a wild pitch.
But the Lightning (2-0) found a way in the eighth.  Senior Alex Lowry (Wenonah, NJ) was placed on second and took third when a flyball from senior Bri Snover (Claymont, DE) was dropped by the right fielder.  Emma Friel (Coatesville, PA) flied out and fellow junior Delaney Insinga (Southampton, NJ) struck out to set up the two-out dramatics.
Senior Davi Jimenez (Vineland, NJ) was faced with a full count and then delivered, hitting one to straightaway that was dropped by the center fielder and allowed both runs to score.
Senior Morgan McLane (Clayton, DE) came up clutch out of the bullpen, striking out six over four innings in yielding just an unearned run.  Mirenda went 3-for-3 with Snover and junior Autumn Simpson (Elkton, MD) getting two hits apiece.
Kendra Bumgardner rapped three hits for the Marauders (0-2).
The second game was fall less dramatic.  The Lightning scored six times in the third, highlighted by Jimenez' two-run single.
Jimenez and Insinga rapped two hits apiece with sophomore McKenna Frank (Oxford, PA) recording two RBI.  First team All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference volleyball pick Caitlyn Burch (Mechanicsville, MD) was outstanding in her softball debut, striking out four over five innings.
Vaughan had two hits for Millersville.
