Goldey-Beacom made quick work of Post and secured its second straight berth in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Tournament with a 7-0 victory in Torrington, CT.

Goldey-Beacom (4-4, 4-4 CACC) is in the CACC Tournament for the 14th time in program history and on Saturday will face either Wilmington (DE) or Jefferson in the semifinals at the Delcastle Tennis Center in Wilmington.  The match either will begin at 10:00 am or 1:00 pm, depending on the tournament's seeding.

After the Eagles (0-11, 0-8) forfeited fifth and sixth singles, the Lightning got straight-set victories in the top four matches.  Franzin notched a 6-2, 6-1 victory over Merlin at No. 1, Quinonez got a 6-3, 6-4 triumph against Sokoliuk at No. 2, Frank recorded a 6-2, 6-1 win over Kotala at No. 3 with Corte amassing a 6-4, 6-1 victory against Croft at No. 4.
