Junior Rory Ciszkowski (Wlimington, DE) became the school's career leader in 3-pointers in helping Goldey-Beacom roll to a 74-52 victory over Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference opponent Bridgeport at the Jones Center in Wilmington, DE.
The Lightning were dominant on offense in the first half, going into halftime with a 42-17 lead. Defensive efforts were also on display during the first quarter, as Bridgeport was held to only five points in the first 10 minutes. Goldey-Beacom did not take its foot off the pedal in the second half and continued to perform on offense en route to the victory.
Ciszkowski drilled six 3-pointers and now is at 208 career, breaking the mark of 203 established by Lexi Bruno (2014-17). Ciszkowski closed with 23 points and shot 6-of-10 from beyond the arc.
Freshman Lydia Betz (Pittsburgh, PA) added 16 points of her own and senior Julie Kulesza (Wilmington, DE) finished with 14 points and six assists.
Bridgeport was led by Harmony Earth-Wiley, who finished with 16 points and 13 rebounds for a double-double. Shakira Hester added 10 points.
