Goldey-Beacom women's basketball faced a strong Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference opponent, Dominican (NY), ranked seventh in the East Region. Despite its efforts, GBC was unable to gain the upper hand throughout the game and fell short in a 74-69 loss.

The Lightning went into halftime with a one point lead over the Chargers before coming back from an 11-point deficit to go into the final 10 minutes of play only trailing by four.
