(2024 schedule)

Goldey-Beacom returns many keys players who look to get back to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Tournament against what will be against another demanding schedule, which was just announced.

GBC opens the season with its only non-conference match of the fall, visiting Molloy on September 8.  CACC play opens September 14 at Dominican (NY) and its first match at Delcastle Tennis Center is a "road" encounter three days later vs. three-time defending league champion Wilmington (DE).

The squad then hosts Jefferson on September 21 and Chestnut Hill four days later before visiting Post on September 28.

The rotation for the second meetings in league play is the same, starting October 1 vs. Dominican (NY).

The Wilmington match October 5 is part of the Homecoming and Lightning Family Weekend.  The weekend's events include opportunities for alums to come back on campus to reunite with many friends and also see the many changes that many who continue to be part of the family help ignite.  It also will give an opportunity for parents to come on campus and spend time with their kids as part of an atmosphere filled with festivities and fun.

The top four teams go to the conference tournament, which will be at Delcastle.  The semifinals are October 19 and the final is the 20th with the league champion earning a berth into the spring's NCAA Tournament.

One of the vital players back is senior Elizabeth Mova (Sevastopol, Ukraine), who last year was tabbed second team all-league.  A solid competitor who was at No. 1 singles and doubles the entire season, Mova recorded seven doubles wins and six singles triumphs.

Junior Nahomi Quinonez (Manta, Ecuador) was a dynamo the entire season and was picked the league's Rookie of the Year, her first fall with the squad.  Working her way up to number three singles during the fall, Quinonez finished the campaign with eight singles victories and three doubles wins.

Junior Zehra Canbaz (Denizli, Turkiye) also was exceptional last season, getting three straight league wins late in the season.  Playing mostly No. 2 singles and first doubles, Canbaz ended the season with eight singles wins and seven doubles triumphs.
