Track & Field Gets Four Tabbed for CACC Weekly Honors

The final week for Goldey-Beacom before the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Championships saw senior Chris Crossen (Magnolia, DE) named Men's Track Athlete of the Week, freshman Dante Dockery (Wilmington, DE) tabbed the Men's Field Rookie of the Week, junior Savannah Boyce (Somerdale, NJ) picked the Women's Field Athlete of the Week and senior Kamillah Monroque named to the Women's Track & Field Weekly Honor Roll.
 
Crossen notched a first-place finish in the steeplechase with a time of 10:54.75 at the WCU Last Chance Invitational.
 
Dockery closed in seventh place in the triple jump, leaping 14.43 meters at the Penn Relays.
 
Boyce took first place in the high jump with 1.55 meters at the WCU Last Chance Invitational, improving on last week's jump by five centimeters.
 
Monroque claimed first place in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:24.71, almost six seconds ahead of second place at the WCU Last Chance Invitational.
 
Goldey-Beacom this week look's to carry this season's success into the CACC Championship.  Saturday's action in Lakewood, NJ begins at 1:00 pm and Sunday's events start at 10:00 am.
