Goldey-Beacom women's basketball was handed a 68-50 loss on the road against non-conference opponent Mercy after coming off a victory over rival Wilmington (DE) on Saturday.
The Lightning faced a tough Mavericks squad who saw four players reach double figures in scoring en route to their fifth win of the season. Goldey-Beacom was led by sophomore Katie Yoder (Dublin, PA), who finished with 14 points. Junior Rory Ciszkowski (Wilmington, DE) added nine points and senior Julie Kulesza (Wilmington, DE) pulled in eight rebounds for GBC.
Ciszkowski now is at 761 career points, moving into 17th place on the school's career list. Her 173 career 3-pointers puts her one behind Janae Weldon (2007-11) for third in team annals and just 30 behind Lexi Bruno (2014-17) for the school record.
Mercy was led by Jaclyn Stanavich, who finished with 16 points, and Amani Abuhatab with 15 points.
Goldey-Beacom faces Franklin Pierce on Friday at 1pm for a non-conference game at the Joseph West Jones Center in Wilmington, DE.
