Women’s Soccer Handed 2-0 Loss at Domincian (NY)



Goldey-Beacom made its way to upstate New York and once again played solidly, only to be dealt a 2-0 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference loss at Dominican (NY) in Orangeburg, NY.
 
Dominican in the 22nd minute got on the scoreboard first.  Kaitlyn Zeeb put a shot on frame that was saved by junior goalkeeper Nikki Cashin (Ridley, PA), but Stella Koster pounced on the rebound and scored for a 1-0 lead.
 
The Chargers kept the pressure going in the 33rd minute.  A throw in from the right side saw the ball make its way into the box before Zeeb guided it home for a 2-0 margin.
 
Cashin again continued to be a positive in notching five saves.  Alex Lowry (Wenonah, NJ) notched three shots with fellow junior Alexa Pacheco (Santo Domingo, PR) and sophomore Mariah McQueen (Baltimore, MD) getting two apiece.
 
Goldey-Beacom on Tuesday is back on the road to visit Chestnut Hill for a 7:00 pm match in Philadelphia.
