Goldey-Beacom continued Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference play with a thrilling 5-2 victory over Dominican (NY) in Monsey, NY.

The Lightning (2-3, 1-3 CACC) claimed the doubles point with a 6-1 victory from junior Elizabeth Mova (Sevastopol, Ukraine) and sophomore Zehra Canbaz (Denizli, Turkey) at No. 1 doubles, and junior Lisa-Marie Roussignol (Quimper, France) and sophomore Asli Kunduk (Izmir, Turkey) taking a 6-1 victory at No. 3 doubles.

Mova continued her strong play into No. 1 singles, taking a 6-3, 6-2 triumph over Angelica Amelkina. Kunduk tallied her second victory of the day with a 6-3, 6-0 win over Ava O'Brien at No. 6 singles for the Chargers (0-3, 0-3).

Junior Macy Hendin-Walker (Ipswich, England) claimed her win at No. 3 singles after her opponent retired, and sophomore Nahomi Quinonez (Manta, Ecuador) became triumphant over Vanya Tyagi at No. 4 singles with a 6-4, 4-6, 6-4 win.

Goldey-Beacom faces Jefferson on Saturday in a CACC match at 12:00 pm in Philadelphia, PA.
