Goldey-Beacom closed the 2022-23 campaign falling 7-0 against Queens (NY) at Delcastle Tennis Center in Wilmington, DE.
 
In doubles, sophomore Macy Hendin-Walker (Ipswich, England) and freshman Nahomi Quinonez (Manta, Ecuador) battled to a seventh set tie break but fell 7-6 (1-6) to Caroline Fawzy and Apolline Lamy. Junior Maria Bruno (Maracay, Venezuela) and freshman Zehra Canbaz (Denizli, Turkey) fell 6-2 at No. 1 singles to Maja Makal and Gaby Saarotta, and freshmen Alex Kepa (Nottingham, England) and Hannah Brandl (Neufeld, Austria) fell to Rea Hagishima and Chloe Certain 6-2.
 
Queens (NY) continued their run into the singles matches. At No. 1 singles, Canbaz fell 3-6, 0-6 to Makal, Hendin-Walker dropped second singles 0-6, 1-6 to Lamy, and Bruno fell in No. 3 singles 2-6, 1-6 to Fawzy. A No. 4 singles, Kepa dropped two sets, 2-6, 0-6, to Saarotta, Brandl fell to Certain 2-6, 3-6 at fifth singles, and freshman Asli Kunduk (Izmir, Turkey) dropped No. 6 singles 1-6, 0-6 to Ana Tarbusara.
 
The team honored their only senior, Bruno, on senior day. Bruno has been a force on the team since she joined in 2018 and was a part of the 2018-19 team that advanced to the second round of the ITA East Regional.
