Goldey-Beacom showed strong play in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference play against Chestnut Hill, despite falling 5-2 in Philadelphia, PA.
 
Junior Macy Hendin-Walker (Ipswich, England) and sophomore Nahomi Quinonez (Manta, Ecuador) continue to prove to be the doubles pair to beat, taking a 5-2 win at No. 2 doubles against Claudia Rassila and Nele Haag.
 
The Lightning also saw success at No. 1 and No. 2 singles.  Junior Elizabeth Mova (Sevastopol, Ukraine) took a 6-3, 6-0 triumph over Rassila and sophomore Zehra Canbaz (Denizli, Turkey) saw a 6-2, 6-1 triumph over Lilly Bandel.
 
Despite a loss at No. 4 singles, Quinonez continues to show promise for her future by pushing her opponent to a third set before falling 2-6, 6-4, 0-1 (6-10).
 
Goldey-Beacom host Dominican on Saturday in its penultimate conference match of the season at Delcastle Tennis Center in Wilmington, DE, beginning at 12:00 pm.
