9/6/2022 12:00:00 AM

More honors were bestowed upon Goldey-Beacom from the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference with junior Zach Landvik-Larsen (Stroudsburg, PA) named Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week, freshman Haley Schofield (Wilmington, DE) tabbed Women's Cross Country Rookie of the Week, sophomore Alyssa Ruggeri (Hockessin, DE) and freshman Mariah McQueen (Baltimore, MD) picked to the Women's Soccer Weekly Honor Roll and senior Shayla Boyce (Somerdale, NJ) tabbed to Volleyball's Weekly Honor Roll.

Landvik-Larsen finished 19th on Friday at the Panthers Invitational, closing in 27:45.5.  It was another impressive start for the 2019 CACC Rookie of the Year, who last season had four top-10 showings and six top-20 finishes.

Schofield ended 37th on Friday at the Panthers Invitational in her first collegiate race, finishing in 23:35.4.

Ruggieri ended with a goal and an assist over two games with all three of those points coming Sunday at Franklin Pierce.  Ruggeri looks for more success this year after she was tabbed 2021 first team CCA All-East Region, first team All-CACC and CACC Rookie of the Year.

McQueen scored Sunday for Goldey-Beacom in the squad's hard-fought loss at Franklin Pierce.  She has had a strong beginning to the campaign in starting all four matches.

Boyce ended with 15 kills, seven digs, three aces and a .256 hitting percentage over two matches.  The 2018 and 2019 third team All-CACC pick recorded nine kills and just one error over 19 attacks for a .421 hitting percentage Thursday at Lincoln (PA).  Boyce also had six kills Saturday vs. Mercy.
