Goldey-Beacom Men's & Women's Track and Field hit the track on Sunday for day two of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Championships in Lakewood, NJ.
The men's team is sixth overall with a score of 34.5 points and the women's team are seventh with 26 points.
On the men's side, sophomore Zach Landvik-Larsen (Stroudsburg, PA.) secured a third-place finish in the 5,000-meter run at 15:55.21.
Freshman Tyler Green (Middletown, Del.) placed fifth in the 400-meter run at 51.22. Teammate freshman Hezakiah Ali-Bentley (Dover, Del.) placed fifth in the 400-meter hurdles 59.81.
The men's 4x100-meter relay team of freshman A'Mair Buffaloe (Prospect Park, N.J.), junior Alex Eaddy (Townsend, Del.), sophomores Edmond Jones (Wayne, N.J.) and Khalil Proctor (Newark, Del.) finished fifth at 44.25.
The men's 4x400-meter relay team of senior Hamza Barnes (Philadelphia, PA.), Green, Ali-Bentley and sophomore Emmanuel Otsyina (Aston, PA.) placed sixth at 3:28.24.
Eaddy took seventh place in the 100-meter dash at 11.15 and eighth place in the 200-meter dash at 22.50.
Barnes took seventh place in the 400-meter dash at 51.57.
Sophomore Mike Marioni (Glendora, N.J.) took seventh in the steeplechase at 11:20.34. Teammate freshman Yusef Shakur (Smyrna, Del.) placed eighth in the steeplechase at 11:34.28.
Otsyina placed ninth in the 400-meter hurdles at 1:02.35.
Sophomore Kyle Scherer (Wilmington, Del.) placed 10th in the 1,500-meter race at 4:20.18.
In Women's events, freshman Karla Chardon (Penns Grove, N.J.) secured a third-place finish in the 100-meter dash at 12.47 and a sixth-place finish in the 200-meter dash at 26.23.
The women's 4x100-relay team of sophomore Hailey Crawford (Newark, Del.), junior Asia Hollis (Rising Sun, MD.), freshman Ellonah Lewis (North East, MD.) and freshman Juanita Wiggins (Hampton VA.) placed fourth at 52.55.
Freshman Maddie Cool (Smyrna, Del.) placed 10th in the 800-meter run at 2:35.79.
The field events will take place Wednesday at 10:30am, also in Lakewood, NJ.
