Student-Athletes Recognized by Goldey-Beacom College With Honors Day Awards

5/4/2022 12:00:00 AM

The annual tradition of Honors Day at Goldey-Beacom College is something everyone on campus looks forward to and the student-athletes remained a central focus with 12 different people winning a total of 17 different awards.

"It was great to hear so many of our student-athletes' names called for awards on Honors Day," Director of Athletics Jeremy Benoit said. "Our student-athlete population plays a big role in the vibrance of our campus.  Of course, we are very aware of all of the amazing things they accomplish on and off the playing surface, but it's always refreshing to see their accomplishments recognized outside of Athletics.  We are beaming with pride."

This annual ceremony honors the elite students in each of the College's academic programs, as well as those who have displayed exceptional service to the GBC and outside communities.  These 17 student-athletes received various awards based on the standout work in their majors.
