Goldey-Beacom Women's Tennis was dealt a 7-0 setback against Indiana U. of Pennsylvania in a non-conference match in Greensburg, PA.
The Lightning battled in each set as the Crimson Hawks secured the doubles point and saw triumph in all singles matches.
The toughest battle the Lightning gave came from sophomore Elin Anderson (Conwy, Wales), who competed solidly against Lydia Vlachou in dropping a 6-3, 7-5 contest at fifth singles.
Goldey-Beacom returns home as the team hosts the U. of District of Columbia on Thursday, Match begins at noon.
