Goldey-Beacom saw many great performances and began its spring in perfect style with a 7-0 victory over Millersville at Delcastle Tennis Center in Wilmington, DE.

Sophomores Salome Lang (Panazol, France) and Maria Bruno (Maracay, Venezuela) got things going at first doubles with a 6-2 triumph over Noelle Htwar and Julie Wallace, sophomores Kristin Radeke (Bremen, Germany) and Andrea Fresneda (Valencia, Spain) amassed a 7-5 win at No. 2 doubles over Maria Ojeda and Chloe Abramowitz before sophomore Imane Van Veen (Paris, France) and Elin Anderson (Conwy, Wales) posted a 7-5 victory at third doubles vs. Kelsey Heckert and Aneesa Malik.

One of the big stories for Goldey-Beacom was another victory for Fresenda, who moved to 9-0 on the season at singles.  The second team All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference pick from last fall got her 24th career singles triumph by rallying for a 5-7, 6-1, 1-0 (10-8) victory at No. 4 singles over Heckert.

Lang rolled to a 6-0, 6-3 win at first singles over Ojeda, Radeke got a 6-2, 6-2 triumph at No. 2 singles over Htwar and Van Veen posted a 6-2, 3-6, 1-0 (10-3) victory at third singles over Wallace.  Bruno recorded a 6-4, 6-4 win at fifth singles over Abramowitz before freshman Macy Hendin-Walker (Ipswich, England) ended the day with a 7-6 (7-4), 6-4 victory at No. 6 singles over Hui Jen Soo.
