Thoughts from Coach Bill Streets
On what he was most impressed with today: "We did come back from down early in the game, it got close and pitching got tired and just could not put the ball where we wanted. We gave up a lot of runs in the last two innings, so it is frustrating when the pitchers are not stepping up to the plate."
On a loaded-upcoming schedule: "(Tuesday) I hope to have a better outing coming against Concordia. They are a tough team but I think we can bounce back and at least get two. If not two, I'd love to have a split. We are still in the hunt. It is not out of the question that we can get into the (CACC Tournament), we just have to play better as a team."
On one thing he would like to see from this team moving forward: "Well, I want to grow as a team. A lot of times, teams have a tendency to separate themselves. The hardest part about coaching is to try and bring them all together, have them deal with the same thing at the same time. Emotions are very tough sometimes."
