Goldey-Beacom Women's Tennis fell to Wilmington (DE) University, 5-2, on Wednesday in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference matchup at Delcastle Tennis Center.
The Wildcats gained the doubles point, 2-1. Second team doubles pair in sophomores Kristin Radeke (Bremen, Germany) and Andrea Fresneda (Valencia, Spain) took a 6-3 victory over Valentina Ivankovic and Marley Trifunovic at the sole doubles win.
In singles matchups, sophomore Imane Van Veen (Paris, France) took a 6-1, 6-4 win over Jessica Purdy at No. 2 singles. Fresneda took a three set 4-6, 6-2, 7-5 victory over Trifunovic at No.5 singles.
Goldey-Beacom travels to Waterbury, CT on Saturday to face Post University in a CACC matchup starting at 1 PM.
