Goldey-Beacom has announced its home matches for the remainder of the 2019 fall season will be played at Delcastle Tennis Center.

The center, which in the last year underwent an extensive renovation that included the construction of an indoor facility, has been home since the program's inaugural season in 2005-06.  The center, which in the past had featured eight outdoor courts, is acknowledged by many as one of the area's top tennis facilities.

For the upcoming weekend, Goldey-Beacom is scheduled to host Holy Family on Saturday at noon and Dominican (NY) on Sunday at noon.

Goldey-Beacom (16-5, 7-1 CACC) last season advanced to the "Sweet 16" of the NCAA Tournament, the furthest any team in the College's history has proceeded in the tournament.  The team played in the NCAA Tournament for the eighth time in school history and clinched a share of a third straight CACC regular-season title.

The unit has won 24 of its last 25 regular-season league matches and extended its run of making the conference semifinals to 11 straight seasons.

A major reason for Goldey-Beacom's success last season occurred April 2 when the squad recorded a huge 5-2 upset of New York Tech, then No. 35 in the nation and tops in the region.  GBC also topped Wilmington (ranked fifth in the East) and the District of Columbia (ranked seventh in the East) in the regular season.

GBC ended the spring 8-3 with just two losses coming to Division II opposition.  Among those victories included a 4-0 first-round NCAA victory over Concordia (NY) and a 4-0 second-round triumph at Stonehill.
